Some December Pics

I am so far behind on my posts. Sorry everyone. I know what it is like to open a blog and see the same thing on there for what seems like years. So here are a few pics that I have from this month. Kimono

Last night we went to the Kimono Japanese Steakhouse for dinner, because Cody had wanted to take Savannah(his girlfriend) as a celebration of them dating for 1 yr. So he worked some for Eric this summer and saved some money so that he could pay for them to eat. The evening was fun. As you can see, we had a great big fire, even the guy that started it is looking away from it. Then the cook threw some egg for the kids to catch with their mouth. As you can tell from the one pic of Cody the egg isn't quite going to make it. It came close a couple of times but no go. As for Samie, she caught it on the second throw, Can you see it? We had a great meal, ate way too much as usual, and I got a few pics of Cody and Savannah, and then Casey wanted her pic taken too. Samie didn't. Any way, I hope that everyone has a great week.

Veterans Day Parade 08

Sorry I am posting this late. But I just haven't had the time. I have been busy with work and everything.
Cody was in the Veterans Day parade on Tuesday. And here are a few pics of him in his band uniform. If you look at the one picture he looks real serious, I think this is because Mrs. Kade was fussing about him not being in line with her or something so he was counting or concentrating. Anyway, a quick notes to our Veterans. THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU DO AND DID!!!! I think that we should all be proud of our people in the service, and pray for them daily. If it weren't for them, we wouldn't be a free nation. God Bless Each and Everyone of You.

Cody for Halloween and DJ's Birthday

For Halloween night, Cody had to be at the football game, so we took the kids trick or treating then Cody text me to let me know when it was 2nd quarter so that we could get to the game for the half time show, and here are some pics of Cody during that half time show. The other pics are from DJ's birthday last weekend. You can now see Cody in his braces. Him and Curtis are now the Braces Boys where the 3 girls are known as the Whatever Girls. I posted the picture of DJ after Mom told him to be nice, as you can see he still wasn't happy about getting his picture taken.

Happy Halloween!!!!!!!

I hope that everyone had a safe and enjoyable Halloween!!! We did a few things this past week. For starters we went to the movies last Saturday so that Casey could see High School Musical 3, and we had to take some pics of her with the gang from the movie. ;) Her favorite is the one with Troy. Samie and Casey went to see HSM3, Cody went to see Eagle Eye, and me and Eric, well we went to see Saw V. My brother got mad at me because I didn't call him to go with me to see Saw V. After the movies we went to my mom's and had a birthday dinner for DJ, Happy Late Birthday Bro!!!!! I think he is still mad at me. I won't post the pics from his birthday just yet. I will post them under another post.
As for the Halloween activities this week, we had a harvest festival at the church on Wednesday night, followed by Trunk or Treat. The kids had lots of fun at the festival, they had several games, cake walk, decorating pumpkins, and etc. One of the games was to see who could run out of toilet paper first as the kids wrapped a person in it. Cody got to be the lucky one in his group to be wrapped, they didn't win though. But he looks so cute wrapped in toilet paper. LOL
Then we took the kids trick or treating last night, Casey decided to go as a black fairy instead of a black cat this year. I think she made a cute little black fairy, Sheryl called her Evil Tinkerbell. And with the faces that she was giving I would say she could pass as one. No really, she was just cute!!!!!! Lacy was a vampire, and Jody was a karate kid. It was fun and the kids got lots of candy, that I am going to stay away from. It is so hard to resist the chocolate though.

Okay, to wrap up through October so far, We had our ladies conference a couple of weekends ago. The pic of Casey is at the conference and I also included a pic of the layout of the food on Saturday. The food was wonderful and so was the conference. We had a good show of ladies on Friday night and it was very enjoyable. I felt blessed. My aunt Dawn and cousin DeAnna came up for the conference and it was nice to visit with them too.
The Thursday before the conference we had a baby shower for one of the girls I work with, Jenny. Here is a pic of her with the Judy cake made for her. I also have a pic of Abbigayle, Amy I work with's daughter. And Brayden, Nancy's son. Abbigayle was bound and determined not to smile for the camera and she did a good job of it. She is so cute. Brayden loves the camera however.
The Friday of the conference I stopped by Jenny's that morning to take some pics of her belly. I won't be posting any of those pics though. But take my word for it, they turned out good. Jenny had her baby on the 17th of October and I haven't got to see her yet but I heard that she has a head full of hair, and I can't wait to see her.
Oh!!! Almost forgot, Cody got braces on the 8th of October, I still need to take a pic of him so that I can post it, to show you how handsome he looks with the braces.

Longaberger Trip

I returned from Nashville on Friday night, after 12 midnight, then I was up and Sheryl and I went on a bus trip to Dresden, Ohio to the Longaberger Outlet. It was a very fun trip, Sheryl and I had lots of fun and we can't wait to take the next one in April. We both bought ourselves a pocket book and then we bought some dips and things. It was a very fun trip. By the time I got home Saturday night I was wore out. Too much traveling in one weeks time.

Nashville Trip

At the end of September, Steve (a co-worker) and I went to Nashville, TN for work. On the day that we were heading back home we went to the city so that I could get some pics. Here are some of the ones that I took. The one of Steve is in front of the Country Music Hall of Fame. The last pic was Steve's idea. He just thought that it was funny to see Eat at Joe's and the Feed Company at the same time. We had a nice trip to Nashville, and we ate really good while we were there.

Football NIght

Tonight we went to the Princeton-Bluefield football game. Cody is in the band at the high school now. We won!!!! 15 to 13. We normally lose against Bluefield, but the game tonight was a good game. Any way, the last time I went to a Princeton-Bluefield game, I was pregnant with Cody. And I think that we won that year too!!! It is just so hard for me to believe that Cody is old enough to be in High School. I still haven't had to drop him off at the school yet. Sheryl has and she got tears in her eyes. Because it seemed like yesterday we were dropping him off at day care. Time just seems to slip by and the kids grow up way to fast. It won't be long before Cody gets his learners' permit and is able to drive a car. I think that is when I will break down and cry. :( I am just not ready to be "OLD" yet.

They were facing the other team so all I got was the backsides of the band, and I think Cody is in the front, so you won't be able to see him. That and the fact that I was so far away.

My Little Cheerleader

Casey started cheering at the beginning of this month. We lost the Grid-O-Rama and we lost the first official game last weekend. But we won the game today. 6 to 0. We didn't score until the last minute of the game. But the boys played their hearts out and the girls cheered their hearts out.

Now to update you on Samie. They did some lab work and found that she has a low hormone level of aldosterone, and that is what is causing her blood pressure to be low. Which is causing the heart rate to be fast. Just continue to keep her in your prayers. She is still wearing the heart monitor. Thanks for the prayers so far.
