Snow Day!!!

Today when we all woke up the roads were covered with snow and it was still coming down. I actually attempted to go to work but didn't make it very far before I had to turn around and come back home. So around 11 am Casey and I went outside to play in the snow. Unfortunately, it wasn't snowman making snow. So we attempted a snowman, made a few snow angels and threw some snow balls at each other and called it quits. I did get some pics of Casey out in the snow. And the picture of the road in front of my house. Now this is a main road and it was still snow covered at 11 am. It was even worse this morning. Any way, we came inside and Cody had us some hot water ready for hot chocolate. Now we are staying nice and warm. Hope everyone stays safe and warm this week.

Go Carting at Rich and Elizabeth's

This past weekend we went to my BIL and SIL's house to celebrate our Christmas together. The weather there was really nice as you can see by the pics and we ate well. Saturday morning we had a great breakfast and then for lunch we had pork chops and scalloped potatoes and green beans and home made bread. The kids really enjoyed themselves. They got out and rode the go cart that Rich had. The only one that didn't ride was Caitlin. When it came time to leave, Casey didn't want to go. And Caitlin didn't want her to leave either.

Roxie has broke her chain again. But this time we are going to let her stay off of it and see how that goes. So far she is staying in the yard or trying to come into the house. These pics were taken yesterday while she hung out with us inside for a while. Look at how big she has gotten. And strong too.
