Casey's Room Makeover

Just a recap of this week. On Tuesday, Cody went with the youth group at church to Winter Place to go sledding. So while he did that, Casey, Eric, and I went to a pancake dinner at a church that Eric's boss goes to. Casey put on the mardi gras mask there, they had them on the tables for decorations. She also got a $35 purse for $6 during a little auction they had. It was cute, it had purple sequins. Yesterday we went to Ryan's for dinner. And Casey told them that her birthday was this past Monday, so of course they brought her a cake and sang Happy Birthday to her. Loves the attention!!! Now I have been working on getting Casey and Samie's room cleaned and redid. The one pic is Before, and the other 2 are after. We took out the two twin beds and got a trundle bed to put in there instead. Look at the amount of space. Now if they will keep it clean. I can only dream. LOL

Casey turned 8 today

Today Casey turned the big 8 years old. And the lucky little girl didn't have to go to school today either. It was cancelled due to snow. So she had a pretty good day. She didn't have to go anywhere this morning and she got to watch HSM3 all day long. We did go to the Kimono for dinner for her birthday. And the whole time........ When are they going to sing to me!! She loves the attention. So they sang to her and took our picture for the bulletin board and brought her some ice cream.
And afterward we went to Wal-Mart so she could spend some of her gift cards. She bought $40 worth of Littlest Pet Shop figurines. She is collecting them. :) Hope you all have a good Week, God Bless!!!!

Dancing with the Stars

I just want to take a little time to explain this video. Last weekend, I went to DJ's house to let them know that I was going to take Mom to the ER, and drop off something to DJ. Well, Casey and Lacy were dancing in the kitchen. And I didn't get to video them at the time. But I thought that their little dance was so cute. So I had them repeat it at Mom's house yesterday, and I recorded it on my camera. I hope you get a kick out of it.

Casey's Birthday Dinner

We went to Mom's tonight for Casey's Birthday dinner. Here are just a few pictures from the get together. It is so hard for me to believe that my Baby Girl will be 8 on Monday. Time just flies. She keeps getting taller and outgrowing all of her cute outfits. Once they get to a certain size, the cuteness of the clothes just goes away. Now it is hard to find something decent for her to wear. We had a good dinner, Mom is feeling a little better. She is still in some pain, but the bumps on her face are starting to clear. Shingles are no fun, that is for sure. At least she doesn't have to be isolated or anything. We have just been having the kids keep their distance. So they don't get chicken pox.
I hope everyone has a great weekend. We are trying to redo Casey and Samie's room. And in the process getting rid of alot of stuff that they have accumulated. It has been alot of work. But the trundle bed makes the room look bigger. I will take pics when we are done.

Valentine's Pictures

Here are a few pics from Valentine's Day. I needed a new pic of just me. DJ took Casey and Lacy and Curtis to the Monster Jam. Sheryl, Matthew, David, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Randall, and Renisa's brother were all there too. It looks like they had a lot of fun. I just put the pics of the girls with a tattoo on their forehead.

Here are some pics from my mom's birthday dinner a couple of weekends ago. We got her some sheets for her bed. And we had cupcakes and cheesecake. We celebrated her birthday on superbowl night. So this is why the football cupcakes. We had fun, we took her to eat at Outback and had them sing to her.
