More Balloons!!!

Boy if this isn't alot of pics. :) Last night Casey, Lacy, and I all went to the Balloon Glow in Wytheville last night. It was the start of Chataqua. One of the girls I work with, Diann, told me that Ed who I knew from Mobile MRI unit had a hot air balloon that he takes to the Balloon Glow. So I figured since we couldn't catch the moon on Wednesday night at it's largest size( whole other story) that we would catch the balloons. So we got there before they started setting up, and we got to watch them set up the balloon from start to finish. After that Lacy got to go up in the balloon and then I got to go up in the balloon. Some of the pics taken of the girls and the other balloons were while I was up in the air. It was a very enjoyable night and I took all kinds of pics. This isn't even close to half. I hope that everyone enjoys their weekend. See you later!!! Enjoy the pics of the balloons as they were set up and then the after GLOW!!!!!

Lacy Birthday and Father's Day

These are pics from Father's Day and Lacy's Birthday. We had a cook out at DJ's house with steak, pasta salad, ice cream cake, and all kinds of goodies. Of course Cody was gone to camp so he wasn't in the pics with us. But he was having fun at camp and is still enjoying himself. I talked to him today and I think that he realized the meaning of money. He was talking about what all he had spent some of his money on and mostly it was on food to eat the first week he was there because they went out to eat a few times. And his words were..."food is expensive" to which we told him when we go out we pay for 4 to 5 meals and he only had to pay for one. I am so proud of him. :)

Happy Father's Day!!!

I hope that all the fathers out there have a wonderful Father's Day. My dad wasn't around while I was growing up so my mom was mom and dad. And we also had our uncles and Pawpaw who were closest father figures around. My mom means a lot to me. So I wish her a Happy Father's Day also. She has always been there for me no matter the circumstance. Those of you who have your dad around, cherish every moment you can, for those are memories that no one can substitute for you, nor can they be taken from you. If you are a father, take the time to spend with your child, for these moments are special and they help your children grow into wonderful parents. God bless you all and have a loving a memorable father's day.

Cody Off to Camp

Thursday Night was my last evening with Cody for a while. He left Thursday Night to go to Boyscout camp for 5 wks. He has went to be a Counselor in Training. I know he will enjoy himself, but I will miss him the time that he is gone. We figure we might go up in a few weeks on a Saturday and spend the day with him. He is about 2 1/2 hours away. Any way, pray that he will enjoy himself and that he will get out of camp what he needs to.
